Cameron Diaz ditched her makeup to promote her latest work, “The Longevity Book.”
The foundation of a good life doesn’t require makeup.
That’s according to Cameron Diaz, who promoted her upcoming lifestyle book about aging gracefully, “The Longevity Book,” with a bare-faced selfie on Instagram.
“I’m so excited to continue the conversation because learning that you can age well, will actually help you age better,” she captioned the makeup-free photo. “If you understand how your body works then you can take action to help keep it in the best possible condition so it can carry you through a long and beautiful life.”
The “Bad Teacher” star has become a teacher of life lessons.
The 43-year-old actress promises to share her simple recipe for embracing age and establishing a healthy lifestyle as one grows older in her latest publication, which will include easy tips such as eating and sleeping well, relieving stress and spending time with loved ones, according to her website.
The book serves as a follow-up to Diaz’s bestselling 2013 motivational manual, “The Body Book,” which similarly encouraged women to adopt nutrient-dense diets and regular exercise regimens to achieve a healthy physique and get into the right state of mind.
True to form, Diaz shared a trio of makeup-less Instagram selfies while promoting that book as well.
The “Charlie’s Angels” star is just one of many celebrities to rebrand themselves as lifestyle gurus in recent years.
Most notably, actress Kate Hudson co-founded an active-wear clothing brand called Fabletics in 2013, and last month she released a how-to-be-healthy book entitled “Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body.”
Fellow movie star Gwyneth Paltrow, meanwhile, runs her own highly popular multi-purpose Goop website and has a new cookbook called “It’s All Easy” coming out on April 12.
Likewise, supermodel Chrissy Teigen released a cookbook of her own, “Cravings,” in February.
Diaz’s “The Longevity Book” hits shelves April 5.
