Chicago Cubs shortstop Addison Russell belted a grand slam that traveled 434 feet off Dan Otero in the third inning of Game 6 of the World Series against the Cleveland Indians.
Russell tied the single-game record for RBIs in a World Series game with his 6 RBIs on the night.

It is the first grand slam since Paul Konerko of the White Sox hit a grand slam in Game 2 of the 2005 World Series. Russell is the first shortstop to hit a grand slam in the World Series.
Mickey Mantle (21 years old, 349 days) is the only player younger Russell (22 years old, 283 days) with a grand slam in the World Series, according to Christopher Kamka of CSN Chicago.
The Cubs are looking to force a Game 7 as the Indians lead the series 3–2.
